If a confidential informant in a Florida case flees can the defendant in that case still be indicted?

It all depends on the rest of the evidence.

If the only information in the case is testimony from the CI, then there will most likely not be an indictment. However, if police have corroborating evidence, chances are an indictment may still occur, especially if they have an official affidavit of the CI's testimony.

Do not "disappear" the CI. It will only make things worse for you.
