Still getting excited about the little pleasures in life: silly movies or books; seeing birds outside your window; finding flowers growing somewhere unusual; little generosities; seeing the same people you always see, but knowing how lucky you are to have them. My boyfriend still giggles like a kid at Tom and Jerry cartoons. My great-aunt started Italian lessons in her eighties. And my mom still loves it if you bring her a marshmallow mouse when you go to the shops.

Their thinking patterns. If they start to think they are old then they will act that way. I know many people who are in their 20's and 30's that act like they are in their 60's or 70's. But luckily I also know many people in their 70's and 80's who have active and imaginary minds that act and think like they are still in their 30's. My wife and I are both over the age of 50 and we still think the majority of the time anyway like we were back in our youth. Age is a number and the brain is what ages us.

Keeping an open outlook, not giving in to previous ideas of emotions, and true love keep you youn in heart.
Not giving in to you age, (it doesn't matter), enjoying life keeps you young in self.
Just because we age doesn't mean we have to act, feel, or give into it. We only live once, give it YOUR all!!!

To some they are just normally like that. But to others it is do to a release of fear. Fear keeps us from feeling free and child-like.
