As a baseball fan, doesn't Cleveland deserve a little more credit??

I'm kind of perpetually sick of hearing anything relating to the Yankees or the Red Sox.

YES, Cleveland deserves all the credit and the Yankees didn't choke, they just lost to a better team. The Indians are a better team than the Yankees and that is why they are advancing. The Yankees have/had no one to match C.C. and Carmona, and in the end great pitching beats great hitting. Plus I'm sick of hearing spoiled Yankees fans cry and complain about not winning a World Series in 7 years, it's really not that big of a deal, get over yourselves.

Yes, Cleveland has a better team than the Yankees do. The Yankees are old and over-paid and over-rated. New Yorkers are so arrogant as to think they should win every year, and don't give credit to the opponent. The Yankees actually should be glad they even made the playoffs, after a horrible beginning to the season. They should re-sign Torre, it's not his fault.

Agreed. This was simply the Indians out playing the Yankees. I especially liked how TBS made it like this was the upset of the century. Most experts pick the Indians to win in 5. That said I think this series could have gone either way. Last night the Yankees had 3 solo homers. If they had just hit them with runners on it would have been a different outcome. Game 2 could have gone either way as well.

I too have a strong hatred for the Yankees and Red Sox. You are always hearing about those teams and frankly I don't give a mutated 50lb. New York City rat's *** about either. I was so glad to see the Yankees lose. I am hoping for a Colorado vs. Cleveland World Series.

Cleveland deserves a lot of credit, its just that everyone outside of NY enjoys talking about the big money machine that COULDNT. And the overrated captain Jeter leading the way to another postseason defeat as Yankees captain.

Yankees are the the joke of baseball, what are you talking about. The owner spent millions to get a team to the World Series and for the past two years they just can not do it!
