What do I think about it? I think it's pretty cool stuff to imagine and escape to when you've had enough of the real world. It's a way to symbolize what we think and feel and to tell stories. It's a wonderful muse for art and music and makes for great cosutmes. Seriously, I think some of the myths and tales are BASED on true events/characters, but not necessarily real themselves. What I know about it is a whole other novel...

mythology and folklore is just what its name suggest. Something that can not be proven, but has been passed down by generations through stories. Magic is real, you just have to see it and understand it and not think that it is something silly by placing limits on the human condition!

Unfortunately there will be a large minority protesting the combination of mythology to the religion category. Of course, there should still be a few pagans around to welcome the folklore and mythology into the religion & spirituality category. It's a tough call, and should be cast to vote. Somehow I find myself wishing more pagans had computers.

Mythology is usually classical or of ancient times, concerning the gods. But folklore is more about country wisdom and fantasy tales to amuse.

No, given the limited space and the fact that many cultures have their own myths and folklore. It's best to ask specific questions.

No in this forum Friend. Best to do some research for yourself and make your own conclusions. Go to the Library, a book store or search on your computer, you will learn.
