A person with conscience at this painful times of war and
seeing that there are millions of unhappy & poor people
in this country, does not realy feel or have extra time for
material life including celebrities.

Because to some they are the spitting image of what they want to be. To others they are role models. While some just wants to know what they're up to (maybe they're bored or just plain out curious).
