Millions of Americans are not losing their health insurance, just like hundreds of thousands of Americans aren't becoming poor.

Millions of immigrants with low incomes, low skill-levels, minimal English-speaking ability and no health insurance are moving to America, that's what's happening.

If you're going to let them stay, let them stay, I have several Latino immigrant friends, I play soccer with them and I've never asked them if they're here legally, it's not the sort of question one asks - - - - but their economic conditions when they got here aren't the result of the economic policies of the last five or twenty five years!

Crankypants, you mean reported for proving you WRONG.

Why is it spam? Because I back up my arguments with facts?

fang it's simple subtraction - we import 4 times as many poor people as the net increase in poor people.

It doesn't matter if all the imported poor people move up quickly and white people actually move down into poverty - what's their excuse, if unskilled people who don't speak the language can all move up?

grumpy unless you define "American children" to include anchor babies - which mayby Hillary does, she wasn't specific - it's a moot point, you're just creating a new bureaucracy for an insignificant issue - - - - Americans are not losing their health insurance - America is just importing people without health insurance.

fang, the numbers refute you. Your inability to subtract impresses no one.

As in a previous question, you are not really asking anything, just trying to make a point. While immigration does contribute to a rise in the lower income bracket, it is not theonly or the major cause of poverty in the U.S.

The point would be to insure the American children. You have a problem with that?
