Right now in Newark, Nottinghamshire UK they are rain clouds but are pretty high up (for some odd reason) hope it stops raining here soon. Its cold outside.

Depends which clouds, there are lots of different types, I think rain clouds are the lowest in teh sky

Due strong winds, rain fall, sun light, an other factors the approx height of clouds is 1290 metres high.
