Central London - yes, although there are a number of different subtleties:
We start with the miserable drizzle, followed by prolonged showers of 'wet rain' you know the one where you actually consider putting your umbrella up. After that there has been the proverbial cats and dogs affair with sustained umbrella usage and the inevitable dance to avoid lost tourists as well as keep away from the kerb in case of heavy drenching by a passing motorist.
Right now, we're back on the miserable drizzle, but I'm hoping for some pouring rain right about the time I leave work.

here in north carolina we have not had rain and desperately need in-severe drought. the sky is very blue but it is also rather hot. i really do not mind tho, it could be worse. at least my house has central air. just enjoy
