On September 29th, 12 year old Graeme Frost of MD got to do the Democrats’ radio address, in which he told his story of how he and his sister were seriously injured in a car accident, and if it hadn’t been for SCHIP, they wouldn’t be here today. So who is this 12 year old? The Baltimore Sun did a story on the family, in which it stated the family couldn’t get health insurance through their work. But the article left out quite a few important, and interesting, bits of information.
First, Mr. Halsey Frost, Graeme’s father, owns his own woodworking design studio, Frostworks, so his claim that he can’t get health insurance through work is shockingly deceptive. He chooses not to get health care for his family. Second, Graeme and his sister Gemma attend the very exclusive Park School, with a tuition of $20,000 a year, per child. Third, they live in a 3,000+ square foot home in a neighborhood with smaller homes that are selling for over $400,000. These people are so poor & needy, and Dems.

In some parts of the country $400K is not expensive for a house. It is average and even below average in some cities.

Perhaps Mr. Frost can't get insurance because of previous medical condition or because he cannot afford $1000 a month for premiums.

Before you go spouting off about things like this you need to do more research. If you do you will find that there are thousands of kids whose families would be destitute because they don't have Schip and the child has an illness or condition that they need treatment for. Cons whine about get up and go get a job. Well, these people have jobs, good jobs. They are hard working. Some are even Republicans, believe it or not, and aren't asking for a hand out but a leg up. The coldheartedness of those opposed to Schip shows how our nation has deteriorated from a caring nation to one of I, my, me, mine; one of greed and where people no longer care about their fellow humans. As a nation founded on Christian beliefs this uncaring attitude is contrary to those beliefs.

I suggest Congress have the courage to override Dubya's veto this time. It is time to stop the Republican obstructionism and help this nation move fore ward.

Since I did not rally behind nor did I insist that anybody rally behind the President in the wake of 9/11, I will do the same thing as I did then. Point out the stupidity of your hysteria, tell you that your nationalism is crap, and you all are a bunch of idiots.

Why do you have to lie about a 12 year old who needs health care to make the President look better? The kids are at the school on scholarships. The house was only $55,000 when they bought it? When you can't justify your decisions just attack the credibility of the opposition. Typical tactic of this administration.

Our president is the most hated man in the world. Do you think the opinion of 15 million or so people, matters more or is better thought out than the entire world? No, it's only pinheads like this administration that COMPLETELY DISREGARD everything right in front of their eyes in order to push an agenda. My friend, this idiot of a president needs no help from anyone to make him look bad!

You never state the source of the "few important, and interesting, bits of information" that the Baltimore Sun left out.

Until you supply that information, everything you post is just more libelous hearsay.

Have a great day.

The Democrats are not doing anything to make your president look bad. Blame Cheney for this. He's the puppetmaster.

So what does that family have to do with me? It's very shortsighted of you to think that all Democrats are the same. But I forgot, as a Conservatic you don't have the logic to understand that some does not mean all.

His own lies are whats making him look bad. By the way, you might want to read the whole story and not just pick and choose.

Wow. I don't know how that proved that Democrats are lying about Bush. Sleazy family, but one deceptive family doesn't mean there aren't pleanty of legitimate families who actually do need some relief when it comes to medical bills.
