There are more than two.

White Island, Ruapehu, and Ngaruhoe are all active volcanoes.

The Smithsonian Museum of Natural History www.volcano.si.edu lists the following active volcanos in New Zaeland:
White Island
Okataina
Tongariro
Ruapehu
And seven active submarine volcanos
If you include all volcanos active in the last 10,000 years, the list grows to 20 "active" volcanos.
