This is normal. You'll have some pain. One thing I can suggest is that you get some support hose. I had three children and I wish that someone told me about them before I had my last child. I was working at McDonald's and I had to quit because my legs just couldn't take the long hours of standing. Be Blessed, and congratulations.

Congratulations about the pregnancy. Yes it is normal, but I suggest stop eating anything that is salty, fried, and not too much sweets to avoid excess water retentions. Eat a lot of veggies, steamed fish, mostly white meat and fresh fruits. Avoid too much carbohydrates..Try put your legs up and wear comfortable shoes or slippers. Ask your boyfriend or hubby to massage it gently , in a circular motion to avoid retention in just one part of your legs and whenever you feet aches. Drink a lot of water so that any excess salts can be washed away from your system and reduce and bloatness and swollen ankles, toes, feet and legs. :D

Hi,

Yes, that's normal, what's happening is you have the excess weight, and you are not stretching your legs while you are sitting down, and the blood flow maybe getting cut off. So while sitting down make sure you don't keep your legs in one position periodically move them up and down or back and forth to keep the blood flowing you can also have some one massage them for you before you get up.

Although uncomfortable, it is normal. It is caused by hormones doing weird and (sometimes not-) wonderful things to all parts of your body (veins, ligaments, blood supply etc). Lots of rest and wear flat shoes with good support to lessen the chances of sore legs. Best wishes
