thing and just keep referring to an election decades ago in Chicago..will this always be all they ever say even if fraud could be proved. do republicans only care about the loss of our right to vote that people died for if they do not win? How is this the moral then?
I m a voting rights advocate from Ohio very involved in this issue and I see the hard work of regular people fighting for election justice and I am mad as he-- with what happened here still and do not understand how people do not care if the vote doesn't count..75% of dems do not believe the vote counts and 50% of independents..does this make reps happy cause less dems will vote maybe due to this lack of confidence..even 25% of reps feel the vote does not count..why do we use easy to hack electronic voting machines by partisan vote companies that forbid checking the software if we are willing to die for the right to retain our vote.

pfo..I beg to differ..although both sides practice voter fraud..in 2004 presidential election the exit polls in 3 swing states including crucial Ohio showed the chance of Bush winning according to statisticians was 60 million to one and of the 57,000 recorded voting irregularities (likemorevotes than voters, machines counting backwards, the same vote counts in machines and so forth..nearly ALL favored Bush..if some favored Kerry one could say they were errors but since all favored Bush it points to fraud as this is statistically improbably. They only safe elections are going to hand counted at the precincts paper ballots which only have a few ways to cheat on and not over a hundred like electronic voting machines. Also the vote machine companies are owned 80% by republican voting companies Soho each donated hundreds of thousands to the Bush campaign (like ESS&S, Diebold, and Triad and Sequoia..they count over 80% of the vote so dems can't do this massive cheating like reps and if they

aren't cheating why do they not let anyone see the software which is the only way to detect fraud..you are right like Marx said "those who vote decided nothing those who count the vote decide everything"

EDIT for Chris's comment
for your information there were to board of elections people in Cleveland indicted for voter fraud and another was awaiting the results of his trial, so yes, there are indictments and personally I believe the whole reason that the 2000 election fiasco became public was for the purpose of getting electronic machines in every county ion the Us..vote fraud has been going on for at least decades but it was too hard to rig everything so they went public with flaws so people themselves would demand the "secure" (and easily hackable electronic machines. Also although he us citizens are left and right, in truth, in government it is all just one party..the corporations run both sides..

amestysucks..the true insulter or idiot here is the one who generalizes what she knows from 2000 election to what she does not know about what happened in Ohio..unless you attended the hearing with hundreds of poll workers and voters testifying under oath what happened to them and that they witnessed testify under oath like I did, talked to board of election worker whistle-blowers who were fired for revealing fraudulent activities in the 004 recount as I did, talked to statisticians and people studying and recording via public records requests as I have who saw fraudulent things and things being hidden as I have, spoke to election advocates investigating heavily the fraud like Bev Harris as I did, and saw movies that show how easy it is to hack the machines--saw first hand it done as I have, and meet frequently with people who got this fraud all the way to congress by their hard work, sweet, and fearless determination, grit, and refusal to be silenced and cheated and stood

side by side with them in the streets protesting & freezing, in national press conferences, in senators offices lobbying, & in hearings at BOE's and voting rights conferences and hobnobbed with people of intelligence who are true patriots fighting for our right for the vote to count as sure as any civil rights fighter for the women and black vote & with equal passion as I have, and unless you at the minimum read the 100 page congressional report about the massive vote fraud in Ohio which far exceeded anything in Florida 2000 (the report is called what went wrong in Ohio by rep. John Conyers), then your opinions are grossly uninformed & you are talking out your rear..only an ignorant person says something did not happened when they have done no investigation & believe everything especially knowing the media can make anything an issue or non issue by what they say or chose not to say..you are completely uninformed and have no knowledge what you are talking. It is you who are insulting

EDIT to gubmint--see Greg Palast and his book "the best little democracy money could buy" I heard him speak and he did much investigation and received insider emails about the fraud in this vein when he was apparently thought to be an insider in error and things were sent to his email address by reps about this particular fraud by people thinking he was an insider in error. I am not sure if this was something Palast had planned or the domain he had or an error or what but he spoke of this as a source for some of what he discovered..I think the felon purge lists were sent to him in error and then he investigated by talking or the people on the list..he says 94,000 people were purged from their legitimate right to vote due to Harris' use of these voter purge lists and what she did ..here is the interview of that but not the website which I heard him mention twice on two speeches he gave in person to the voting activist here in my city in Ohio http://www.buzzflash.com/interviews/2002/11/

They'll never admit it. Just like they won't admit thousands of people were purged from the Florida voter rolls using felon names from Texas, or the other tens of thousands names purged using a flawed database from a republican operated database firm.

It is hard to prove the Republicans fixed the election in Ohio when they lost every state wide position and every congressional and senate seat. Democrats are the ones that though punch cards where to hard for people to understand and pushed for a new voting system. Since the Dems took over there has not been one indictment for voter fraud? Could it be cause there was none.
People believe in bigfoot to, but I doubt there is one.

Strange question because in Georgia it is the Democrats that object to closing the loopholes of voter fraud. Former Dem Governor Roy Barnes keeps filing lawsuits to stop a voter ID. Despite his best arguments with out this law all you need to do is say you are so and so and it must be so. How on earth would you even detect this sort of fraud. Only if the little old lady knew the person on the registry and would she even report it. They claim it is a poll tax but voter id cards are free. Then they say in disenfranchises some voters however they could not produce anyone to have standing for a lawsuit. So why do they pursue this. Because the Roy Barnes of the Democratic party must want the right to commit fraud in the future.
Thus you question should include Democrats.

Why should they admit something that didn't happen? Democrats are STILL claiming Gore won when the evidence shows that in every recount, Bush was the winner.
And those "butterfly" ballots, that weren't confusing if you looked at it, were developed by the democrats. Why should the cry foul when they developed the system?
Why are the Democrats always screaming fraud? Is it because they just don't like the outcome and they are throwing a tantrum?
There is no fraud - get a life!
Thank you for the first insulting question of today!

I can give you plenty examples of current Democratic voting fraud. The city of Memphis has several Democratic districts rife with corruption, dead people voting, people voting out of district, and people voting multiple times. It's nothing new, it won't go away. You just deal with it and realize it happens on both sides, hopefully cancelling each side's nefarious efforts out.
Edit -
And I'm just about sick of hearing about the frigging felon list in Florida. It wasn't even used by most of the counties, including the overwhelmingly Democratic ones that were caught up in the voting controversies. The final tabulation of ex-felons who were allowed to vote far exceeded the number of innocent people who were denied a vote.

You need to give up the vote thing, because complaining about it won't cause fair elections. We, as citizens, have no oversight on our voting process. You either trust the election commission, or you do not, and regardless of what you think they will do their job, they will count the vote how they feel, and there's nothing you can do about it.
If you think voter fraud is Republican only, guess again. Democrats have their tricks too. Both sides partition voting districts to their advantage in their respective states. Democrats throw out absentee ballots. Republicans over-count absentee ballots. Both sides rig machines to count twice, or divert votes all to one candidate. These tricks are common, but they rarely take away the whole election, rather win one or two districts.

We also occasionally mention the well-known, rampant, and felonious voter fraud in Florida, where liberal "snow-birds" are known to vote in a northern state, usually New York or New Jersey, and also in Florida.
Liberal Florida politicians have also attempted to squelch the military write-in vote, knowing that it is overwhelmingly conservative.

Do you think the Democrats only care about "Justice" or winning? All they have to do is give amnesty to the millions of illegals and then they will have all the votes they need.
The end justifies the means.
