i will be filing a objection in family court after the judge sets child support. i was told to have my objections ready. my objections are that CSE did not use my insurance in the figure, and that he has submitted dummy tax returns. and the % should be raised because it is too low and i do not like the total amount.what do i need to know about filing an objection, and tips on how to catch the judges eye, in a good way of course.
p.s. my son has lived without any money from him for 10 years, i am just asking for expences to make the teen years easy on him and i, braces, clothing etc, i'm not out to destroy the bum. no replys from dishearted burnt men please. anyone with a legal back ground that has tips please inform mom here!

I have not heard of waiting until after the amount is set to object. This should be done at the hearing when it is set. I am assuming you do not have an attorney. Bad move. Be prepared to prove the tax returns are bogus.
