So I'm a dollar short of a pack of smokes, so I've decided to quit. Any tips on making this not be so horrible?

I want to kill people. I miss my Camel Lights.

Eat a lot of snacks, get fat and depressed, then start smoking again to lose weight.

Fill your lungs with clean air with a deep, deep breath in through your nose, every time you want to take a puff. Picture in your mind, every ounce of clean air is pushing all that dark nicotine gunk out! That's exactly how I did it! I just kept picturing pink healthy lungs in my mind and how good the fresh air smells. Stay away from areas where people are smoking. Try to make it a habit of going to places where smoking is not allowed! If you keep it up in a couple years, your lungs will return to the pink healthy state they should be in(this is a fact)! Air is a good thing!

pick up a hobby...
use the money you are saving from the smokes to do something fun...

have sex.. always works.. thats unless you are one of those who smoke after sex

go out and meet new people..
eat something you love.. to take your mind off of it.

write a book about it.. your struggles, your feelings and how others could do the same..you never know, it could end up being best seller.haha

Chew gum...lots of gum...keep busy thats what I did...do stuff with your hands to keep them active and don't think about..read obviously the computer mall other things to keep you busy! Good Luck!

U could try smoking those wee plastic things that have tobacco in them? its just the same as if u wer smoking and u can wean off them

Go to church. Chew gum. Try doing something that will take your mind off everything.

i quit 2 weeks ago, and i find, just keeping busy and having lots of dum dum lolli-pops ready and waiting.
