When I was a kid I bought a book-mark that said:
"Somethings must be believed to be seen."
It had a sparkly picture of a unicorn on it. (Forgive me... I was a kid!!!)
Closing your eyes is like that. There is no horizon, no limits to what you can see except the ones we place on ourselves. There is just possibility.
Closing our eyes, we look inward. What I see is potential to 'do'... my hopes, my dreams... my everything. (man, this is mushy!)

I see light and colors and shadows. The light seems to move in a pattern which looks like pulses and waves. The shadows form different shapes that support one another as if in a dance. They are telling me something, but I do not understand. The light and the shadow move in concert with each other forming images like a big painting that changes continuelly, and each image says something distinctive yet each needs the other to be complete. When my eyes are shut for too long then I become frustrated even sweat. It's been this way for so very long that it has become common place. Why, do u want to know that?...

My eyes shutting hits the play button on a movie projector. As soon as my top and bottom lids kiss, movies of past memories and future possibilities flood the screen....I tend to "forget" the present.
Right now, I am listening to a nature music station broadcasting a piano melody against the backdrop of flowing water. I close my eyes and am sitting on a flat rock beside the rapids at the end of (let's call it) Raven Lake. I just took the motor boat there in hopes of feeling a fleeting sense of peace during that time in my life and to be totally engulfed by the waterfall's spray against my skin, beauty, and sound.

As my eyes stay closed, I see the black void slowly give way to brownish yellow. I see a few blue dots sparkle randomly. My mind starts wandering to different scenarios and I start smelling things that cannot be there, start hearing things that cannot be heard where I am and my breathing quickens. After a while, as I calmly compose myself and let these visions pass, I see the black void again and my breathing becomes more regular and I feel calm and free and happy! I open my eyes and stand up!

When I close my eyes there are worlds of possibility, a playground to do with as I wish. I can travel anywhere, see anything, do anything & be anything in a place without limits, except those that are self imposed. The most beautiful thing I can see is when I travel in instead of out, the last true frontier. There I can see my true self. Thanks. (((HUG)))

What I see when I close my eyes, is my Grandson, Jacob,he is in Kinder, and I worry a lot for him. He is my One and Only, and I have to say that to him when he comes Home from School. Thanks for your Question, Enki, you always make my Day. Have a good day, to you too.
