Clear up this Myth or Urban Legend about a baby name ?
I have heard this several times and I feel it is true

I heard 5 or so years ago, a number of women (all over the USA) named their daughters Analease.

They fell in love with the pretty name of

Ana Lease

Then after months or maybe a year
They realized they named their daighters

Anal Ease

A sex lube

Is this true ???

I don't know anyone with that name. If it was so common, you would think people would have heard this name. I haven't.

Plus which, people usually choose names for their children with great care. I doubt that anyone would have named their child "Analease"; without realizing the double-entendre.

It's true, but the reason is that the name is supposed to be spelled Annaliese (its German)

So really it's down to illiterate folks who know no better.

I have heard the name but not spelled like that and only twice. Somewhere someone always has to make something raunchy about something innocent, don't they?

Snopes.com search has no records of legends surrounding that name. If Snopes doesn't have it, I don't believe it exists.
