Call your credit card company and request a new one.
What rights do you have? None. These things happen. Quit looking for a free meal.

The answer is probably "find a different way of paying for your meal". Your credit card company will be glad to send you a new card free of charge. And those things are tough: there's no way she could have broken it if it weren't already about to break. I think an apology is about appropriate.
In terms of your "rights", you don't really seem to have any here. You haven't suffered any cognizable harm, as it won't cost you anything to have a new card sent to you. This is the sort of thing that we just have to deal with.

you should have done NOTHING. YOU HAVE NO RIGHTS! if she broke your rolex, there might be a problem. credit cards are FREE. call the company. its that simple. they send you a new one in 5-7 buisness days. if you really wanted something in return, you could have asked her to tape it together so the halves wouldnt be lost...and then you would become a victim of idenitiy theft. using tape to hold the peices together also allows them to still scan.
credit cards are TOUGH. they take a heck of alot to break, like repeated bending. you dont deserve a free meal. an apology suffices. its an accident. they happen. even to you. you would want an apology to be enough if you made a mistake, would you not?

That was an accident- Call the credit card company and request a new one.
No harm done- What could she do besides apologize?

cripes, it was an accident. Say it's okay I'll call the company for a new one. It's not like you paid for it or anything. I'd guess it's old or overused anyway. Those things don't break easily unless they are bent up and worn in the first place.

An apology is as much as is appropriate. All you have to do to replace it is call the 800 number on the back, (Press 1 for English!) and wait three or four days.

Your reward is to become a better person.
1. It was a mistake, unintentional on her part.
2. She apologised
You have had a minor loss, accept her apology gracefully and move on.
