Judiciaria is certain that Maddie was not only with her siblings
There were seven children in the McCanns' house
A new twist in the media-exposed case into the disappearance of Madeleine McCann. It turns out that there were not only three, but seven children in the apartment where the girl vanished from, on May 3, as 24Horas could find out with police sources connected to the investigation.
The authorities have discovered new evidence that in the house that was rented by the McCanns there were residues that were later confirmed as belonging to the children of the couple's friends that gathered at the Tapas restaurant for dinner.
This new version demolishes the theory that is defended by that group of friends as to what happened on the fateful day and weakens the possibility that one stands before a kidnapping.
As a member of PJ told 24Horas, "unless we're dealing with a sexual predator who followed the girl for a long time, which is not likely, as they had been in the Algarve for six days only, it would not be very likely for her to be selected, even because in terms of crimes of this nature, the criminals look for younger children, which are easier to sell for adoption".
Another source with the investigation was laconic: "It's not only the collected evidence that points to the fact that there were more children inside that apartment. There is also evidence, which is duly fundamented after the interrogations to the other persons that were at the Ocean Club, that only the McCanns' apartment was visited by the people who attended the dinner."
The contradictions that were detected include the version that was offered by Russel O'Brien, one of the McCann couple's friends, who left the restaurant for 25 minutes (between 9.35 and 10 p.m.). The British man guaranteed he took that long because he visited his sick daughter, and she vomited. He says he asked for the sheets to be changed, but the staff at the Ocean Club assured the investigators that nobody asked for any bedsheets to be changed that evening. Another issue that is not straightforward is connected to Jane Tanner, who guaranteed she checked on her daughter around 9.15. But Jeremy Wilkins, a friend of Gerry McCann, revealed that at that time he was chatting with him close to the apartment where Maddie disappeared from and that it would be impossible for Jane not to meet them.
The PJ investigators even considered the possibility that Maddie may have left the apartment looking for her parents, and fell into an open sewer ditch. But the searches at the location, and the questioning from the workers that were doing the job dismissed that possibility.
"In face of so many contradictions and in face of the forensics results that we already hold, we have very few doubts that the girl died inside that apartment, and we only have doubts about who concealed the corpse", a source with the PJ concluded.
***********EDIT*************** how pathetic! I am getting thumbed down for providing a link to the translation, why don't you bl**dy well grow up you morons!

I don't understand how police can be sure there were 7 kids in the apartment from this....

Sorry, but that's got to be media hype. If DNA from the all the other children was found in the McCanns apartment, it can't possibly PROVE they were all there THAT night. It just means they were all there some time during the holiday (discounting transference of the material by others). It's exactly this type of reporting, where newspapers assume things when they don't understand the implications, that make the police look stupid.
As for "them" being evil setting up Robert Murat, I remember watching Sky News in the first days and the finger was first pointed at him by a journalist who thought his behaviour in hanging round the apartment was suspiciously like Ian Huntley's behaviour after Holly and Jessica went missing, and reported it to her boss. It was only later that other people began to say things that implicated him.
Whatever else I think about the McCanns, I hate it when journalists can't get their facts straight.

Yeah, wreck somebody life for a diversion.
If they (the McCanns) had nothing to fear why not to answer questions (like Murat).
Help search Madeleine (like Murat).
Not call media or lawyers before the Police (like Murat).
Not to call a PR (like Murat), and mind their own business and try a normal way of life (like Murat).
They prefer to look guilty as their friends are.

Robert Murat offered his help in looking for a missing child and then was named a suspect because of that. How many people are going to think twice about helping to look for a missing child that is a stranger due to this? It may make people scared to get involved thinking they may be made suspects.
As far as what yahooyahoo posted...why wouldnt the police just frame Murat right in the beginning and just get it over with. They had access to his home they dug up his yard...they could have easily frame him so whats the motive for them to frame the McCanns.

Well at least the truth is finally starting to come out now ...
It is a shame that no one thought this was relevant in the early stages.. too busy covering each others backs
Robert Murat should sue the lot of them for their evil implication of him ..
I hope to god that Maddie is found soon and every person involved in that evenings events will be questioned again
The pact of silence is crumbling . their lies are coming back to them and if any of them has a decent bone in their bodies they will tell the truth so Maddie can be laid to rest in decency

What a load of twaddle! I'm sure the apartmnent is crawling with all the children's DNA, they were probably running in and out of there throughout the whole holiday.
How can you call the parents evil - you do not KNOW they killed their daughter, or hid her body. If i am wrong, I wil be the first to admit it, but how can you be so nasty without being sure that they harmed their daughter.
One thing I am shocked at though is one of the other parent's leaving their daughter after she had vomited and going back to the restaurant - how stupid, and uncaring!

Well you answer to yourself, they have no consciences at all, people who not just neglect their kids but they also decide to make a circus and become themselves celebrities using something as sad as the disappearance of their daughter only show how their heart are made of. They would frame anyone to keep this farce.
