It is said that after ovulation your period must come 14 days after, I am not certain how true this is for I never ovulate so my cycles are wack and hard to predict ovulation and pinpoint AF, but if you did indeed ovulate and don't get AF try testing a week after AF suppose to arrive, if its a negative go to the dr for a blood test if thats a negative also your dr would give you some provera to induce your cycle and 5-7 days after the last pill your AF should arrive and when it does you can start the charting, BD, and go threw the tww all over again. The reason why some periods don't show up after ovulation is because of stress, I would tell you try not to stress and forget about it, but we have pcos and I no its a hard thing to not stress about. I also no how your feeling now, I am also waitng on my AF to come whats suppose to be due from Monday, I had all the signs of pms such as mild lite cramps and tender breast, now I only have tender breast, so just wait in there and retest next week(I would be testing for the 1st time on Next week Monday) if AF still doesn't show up

lots of things can affect your periods like stress, so it is likely to ovulate but for some reason your period is late.

I had this same questions. I saw my OBGYN and she said that you don't ovulate if you don't have a period.
