What's the song that plays on the TV1 ad for Law and Order CI&SVU?

I don't know if it's just in Australia or what, but it's a really good song and I don't know what it is. I don't really know how to describe it, but it's basically just a distorted guitar with a lot of sound effects.
It might have just been an original song just used for the commercial or something, but I figured I'd check.

It was a song written by Mike Post strictly for TV and he never gave it a name
