America would be a living hell in Earth - like Nazi Germany, only more stronger. Let's not hope it happens.

Adolf Hitler did not want to take over the world.
No dictator ever has.
Taking over the world entails conquering America, the entire South America, the whole continent of Africa, and Australia. Hitler never had intents to conquer any of these places (save Northern Africa).
People don't realize how big this world really is. Do you honestly think anyone would want to control all of it? Hitler was an intelligent person, as are most leaders compared to him, so don't you think he's intelligent enough to realize world conquest is not a possibility? He was.
And to answer your question: America would be like all other occupied countries, oppressed, pockets of resistance, and exterminated races.

i think you mean to ask, if hitler WERE to take over the world...! WHERE is a direction. ok, so now if adolf took over the world, america wouldn't really change that much. believe it or not, he liked america and especially hollywood. he loved the movies. he even had his own copy of 'it happen one night" with clark gable. i'm sure you have a place that is special to you where you can go when things trouble you. could be your bedroom or wherever. getting away to a place to stretch, think, a place that keeps you sane, right? sure and just about everyone does. well, adolf did too. he never made it to america but he was overheard saying that he admired america, it's tall buildings, the can-do attitude of americans, etc. no, this would've been his place of refuge. why change (or fix) what isn't broke. oh and by the way, when during the russian/american cold war, during it's coldest, russia claimed it would destroy us but most knew this not to be true. i mean, if america became another russia, where would the russians go to stretch, relax, see real movies, watch good tv, like huh? not even russia would've changed america. the diplomats just loved coming here and dreaded going home, away from nyc, warm weather, commercial consumption--well, you get the idea! i sure hope you do!

Silly girl, how can a person who's been dead for 60 years take over the world? Not a very smart question, is it?

The novel "Fatherland" imagines that scenario and sets it in 1964, framing a murder mystery. It was made into an HBO movie starring Rutger Hauer.
