When they fall apart due to their own internal contradictions - just as the USSR did and the USA will do eventually.

Sir,
Before you accept the precept that capitalism is the root of all evil for the "blue-collar worker", take a long hard look at the lives of such workers under socialism or communism. It is one thing to be jealous about someone having a newer car or a bigger house but under those systems, you would own nothing and not even have enough to eat. If you think capitalism is an authoritarian system, what system would you prefer?
The beauty of capitalism is that you do not have to stay where you are nor keep doing a job you are unhappy with. If you do not like what you are doing or the level of income it brings, you are free to do something else.

I don't think capitalism is the problem, but rather corporatism.
Capitalism is simply a system in which an entrepreneur or inventor is allowed to profit from his idea. Small to medium businesses have existed right up to the industrial revolution and had not been major actors in society up till that point (With perhaps the exception of large-scale banking which would sometimes also take governments hostage).
My point is at a certain point, legal personhood was given to large corporate entities, whose members can now conspire to subvert the laws of the land, but without paying the consequences normally associated with crime. They have also become growing political forces because of sheer size. They do need to be reigned it, and reigned in severely. I consider corporatism to be the biggest threat to democracy since the rise of fascism.

I have been blue collar, unemployed, white collar, and working on being financially independent. All because of capitalism.
If living with plenty of food, shelter and opportunities is "down trodden" what does not down trodden look like?
I have been to the USSR and communist China. Give me capitalist USA any day.

When the revolution starts! We have a social elite class that is more or less saying "let them eat cake". We all know what happened to the person that said that and it can happen again.

I don't understand what is the question. Your premise is wrong. Capitalism is free enterprise. It is not an authoritarian system. It is not anti-blue collar. Free enterprise benefits everyone.

Spend a few years in North Korea and let's see if you change your mind. You're proposing government run everything. Most of us would prefer not to spend our lives living off of the public trough. Go back to school, learn a good trade and make something out of yourself. Whining doesn't get you anywhere.

No, I suspect that what you really are is a foil. "Conservatives" can now argue against your poorly stated position and show they are so right and so smart.
To answer your question, capitalism is on the ascendency, and worker rights are on the wane. There is no end in sight to this trend.
