Manning. I don't care how many rings Brady has, Manning is the better, smarter, more talented QB. Look at career stats, it shows (I know Brady didn't start playing until 2000, even with Manning from 2000 to now, his stats are better).

Whoa (I only just now read all of your paragraph)

Manning, is not a better quarterback (as in back who passes to the recievers - maximum of 5 or 6) than Brady - He has good Chemistry with Better recievers - switch recievers and no, it wouldn't work. No way you can say Manning studies better than Brady...cuz its not true. Brady just doesn't dance around and s hit. Why do that anyway? Everyone knows Manning is gonna go for the long bomb. Brady works for his money, with a combination of methodical shorts and runs and then long bombs...better play caller too, even though it doesn't look that way immediately.

I would say Tom Brady because of his 3 Super Bowls. It's not just that. He barely had any weapons. His greatest weapon was Corey Dillon for his last Super Bowl season. He didn't have any great receiving weapons that Peyton Manning has. He definitely did much with less talent. Now that Tom Brady has receiving weapons..especially with Randy Moss, look at Tom now! He's thrown 16 TD's and 2 INT's with 1,383 yards in only 5 games for a 128.7 quarterback rating this season! That's amazing!

TOM BRADY IS SLIGHTLY OVERRATED, HE "HAD" THE BEST DEFENSE IN THE NFL, PLUS THEY USED PERFORMANCE ENHANCING CAMERAS. (Tommy's stats hold him back and he did NOTHING, SQAUT, NADA, ZERO, ZILCH in college at Michigan)

L. Milloy, T. Law, W. Mcginnest, T. Bruschi, R. Seymour, M. Vrabel, etc.; do these names ring a bell.

PEYTON IS 6"5 WITH A LASER ROCKET ARM, and has NO defense!!!

However my all-time list is: J. Elway, J. Montana, P. Manning, B. Farve, T. Aikman (I ADMIT MY LIST OVERLOOKS THE PAST GREATS, SO WE WILL NEVER KNOW WHO THE BEST ARE)

If Manning wins one more superbowl and plays at least eight more years....WATCH OUT MJ, RUTH, ALI!

Fact: BRADY WILL HAVE 3 KIDS WITH 3 DIFFERENT MOMS BY 2009.

Manning.

Granted, Brady has won more Super Bowls. But teams win Super Bowls not just the quarterback. Most years New England has had a better team than Indianapolis. The last two to three years Indianapolis has had the better team. I'd say Indianapolis started having the better team starting with the year Indianapolis played Pittsburgh and lost at Indy in 2005.

Brady is a very consistent quarterback. He does a lot of short little passes and keeps moving the ball down the field. Every once in a while he will throw some spectacular long bombs, but his game is about precise short passes and keeping the ball moving.

Manning at the beginning could be more explosive than Brady but he wasn't quite as consistent. Manning is the king of the long bomb pass. If you allow single coverage on one of his wide receivers like Harrison or Wayne he will hurt your team big. Then you have the wild card with Dallas Clark. No quarterback is better at messing with another team's mind than Manning. He exploits every weakness he can. All of the wild gesturing, taking advantage of every time a defense tries to switch out players and catching them with 12 players on the field.

I'd have given Brady a slight advantage until last year, but Manning definitely pulled ahead of Brady last year and he did so by emulating Brady. Manning changed his game last year and was more patient going for more of the short passes and utilizing the running game more. He became more consistent and methodical, but still kept his deadly weapons of the long bomb pass and used his threat of the long bomb pass to open up the short passes and running game.

I also don't think you'll find a quarterback that studies his opponents and his own game more thoroughly than Manning. His long ball threat, his crazy uniqueness of exploiting every little advantage he can get, his study of the game, and his new consistency make him the best in my mind.

Most everybody tries relating Super Bowl wins to how good a quarterback is. Rex Grossman made it to the Super Bowl, but he sucks as a quarterback. Terry Bradshaw won 4 Super Bowls, but he hardly ever even threw a 300 yard passing game and I don't think he ever threw a 400 yard passing game. Bradshaw won Super Bowls on the strength of his defense just like the Bears made it to the Super Bowl last year on their defense.

New England has a very good defense. And everybody that is toting New England as great and is looking at Brady and Moss needs to start paying attention to New England's defense. New England's defense is better than their offense is. New England's offense is good, but not as good as their defense.

I believe you have to determine who is best on their abilities. And on ability, Manning is the better quarterback.

Brady has had the better defensive team. Manning has had the better offensive team.

Manning-by far. I have not seen an arm like that since Marino. Plus he is moblie, makes good decisions on the field.
