Adultery is not a crime, therefore your ex-wife cannot be charged. The evidence can be used for child custody etc.

Generally, the statute of limitations for both personal injury and property damage in the State of Texas is two years. It is possible that a lawsuit was filed, but you were never notified of the suit. In this case, you are going to need the help of a lawyer to sort out the facts. In most states, the Statute of Limitations must be affirmatively pleaded in answer to a lawsuit. If you were insured at the time of the accident, contact the insurance agent or company that covered the car and you at the date of the accident. They will provide a lawyer to aid you, if they had knowledge of the accident after it happened.

No Way! Where have you been. Adultery for grounds for divorce is long gone. Today you need no reason for divorce. All the courts care about if the kids are going to be take care of. The things that the two have owen are dived up even. Get a life. Forget about getting even and move on. Your being a little boy.

There comes a time when we must let go of the past. If you are divorced and done with it, let it go, and go on with living a nice life with a clean slate. Forgive and forego and be the better person. Holding on to bitterness after a divorce only hurts you. Move on. There is a world of better things waiting for you.

Adultery is not a crime. So, you could not charge her with anything. Plus, Texas is a no contest state regarding divorce, so it does not matter the reason for divorce.

You would have had to file it as grounds for divorce. You can't "charge" her with a crime for that. Just be glad you're rid of her.

RE :Is there a statute of limitations on Adultery in Texas?
My divorce was early this year, but I think I have enough evidence to convict my ex-wife of Adultery before our divorce. Can I still use it? What kind of punishment can she get? ANy lawyers out there wanna take the case, pro-bono?
