I know a guy who lives in Luton who seems to be exactly like you in getting totally depressed all the time he is there, and when he tries to move things always seem to go wrong to prevent him moving anywhere else. Luton does appear to be among the most evil places in the UK, as for example, that is where the suicide bombers of 7-7 came through and caused evil and misery in London. I am told by my friend that a famous Bishop came to Luton and said he believed the place was under the control of Satan. But I myself when I go there quite like the place, so it does seem only some people are affected by the curse, or whatever it is that affects Luton?

I am afraid that Gainsborough in Lincolnshire did it for me......the road into town was all dirty bricks and the underground car park was so dismal.. This was about 6 years ago, so hopefully the local government have made changes for the better, but I am not going back to find out!!

Slough, Hull, Brixton...actually, anything beyond my front garden!

No, joke, actually I find the stereotypical sprawls of the south east and the midlands most depressing but of course there are nice bits too.

Yes, any busy intersection of major highway near shopping centers, anywhere on this planet. Not far away, perhaps even a kilometer, a random meeting of people who share, who give, who selflessly love each other and value learning.

Lewisham.
It's just full of teenagers with nothing better to do than stand at the doorway of shops giving people their best "scary" face.
It's pathetic, and very depressing.
