I'll have to say no.

We already have a monstrous trade deficit. Increasing tariffs that are already in place would drive up the cost to the consumer. Keep in mind, well over half of whats bought and sold in this country is imported. Look under the hood of an American built car, where are the parts made? Computers, appliances, beds, shoes, beverages, cell phones and all those tech products, even food and this is only naming a few.

Additionally, raising tariffs would only increase an ever expanding trade deficit.

Not sure if this is the answer you wanted to hear, but it's the observation I've made over many years.

As for national health care, the question is STILL, "Who is going to pay for it?"

No. I would not. It would raise the cost of goods coming into the country, and the system would not work properly anyway. Years of experience has shown that when the Federal government gets into anything like this, it never works right.
If people want health care, the very first thing they need to do is to admit to themselves that most of their ills are of their own making. Harsh as that may sound, it's true. What is needed is a firm plan to make people be responsible for their choices, and to live with them. I should not have to help pay for the mistakes of another person, especially if they won't even try to take care of themselves.

No. I would not support universal health care under any circumstances. It is socialism.
I do not support tariffs for any reason. They raise the cost of imports and invite retaliation from the exporting nation.

No, I would not support anything that has to do with Universal health care. It IS socialism. If a person were to be aware that socialism is wrong--they would realize that capitalism actually benefits people more by serving the common good.

All American Citizens should be provided with health care without having to worry about paying for it, or losing their home, or retirement.

We can cut politician's salaries to pay for it.

No. The two subjects are entirely unrelated.
