Is there something about which he is very passionate? A pet love that he maybe hasn't indulged lately? Or maybe there was something he never got to have as a teen that he still talks about sadly? Maybe something he lost and loved?
My fiance desperatly wanted a hardcover edition of Lord of the Rings since he was 14... so that's what I got him for his last birthday. I will never forget his face :)
Good luck with your gift hunt, have a wonderful anniversary.

Plan a suprise trip. Take him to romantic place & at every destination give him suprise. Book a nice hotel & ask waiter to arrange the bed like first night & cut cake together the spend that whole day like newly married couple.
He would be really happy & treasure this moments forever.

Thanks
jack

If your husband is the redneck sports type like mine, go with tickets to something. I know it doesn't mean much to us, but you are tell him that you know his likes. Get two tickets and you can either go with him or let him take a friend.
I was once told by a guy that a nude portrit of yourself would do wonders.
If you have a romantic type though, sorry I couldn't be of more help. I don't have one of those :)~ But I love him!

If he's an electronics guy, get him a Best Buy or Circuit City gift card.

If he's a Lowe's or Home Depot guy, get him a gift card.

If he loves to eat, treat him to steak & potatoes at a nice restaurant

If he's a big sports fan, get him apparel of his favorite team, or tickets to a home game if his favorite team's venue is nearby.

Guys invariably fall into one of the above categories.

well, i believe that anniversaries other than major ones require something which just reminds them of how happy you are together. Either that or something like a novelty gift. Not too major but it will become a reminder of how happy you can make each other
