Ok, I know I'm Japanese but I moved to UK at an early age, and I read manga and watch anime, but I don't get the significance of the nosebleed when some boy sees a cute girl, does any one know?

i think its because of the blood pressure... they are with normal blood, and then they see this cute girl and the heart starts beating very fast and then they just explode of excitement and bleed XD

I'm not Japanese but I'm a self proclaimed anime addict. I think that the nosebleed a guy gets when in a sexy situation or when he sees something sexy on a girl is a symbolism for arousal. Sometimes it's funny and sometimes it's irritating. There are some animes that use other forms of symbolism to portray arousal although most use the tried and tested nosebleed routine. (An example is DNA2 where the main character vomits when in a sexy situation with a female.)

if a boy sees a cute girl in an anime, he's so in for her, his blood pressure rises and... - the nose bleeds.

I suppose, in a western cartoon (if they did so explicit), you'd see dicky rising ;-)
