i mean, anything goes, one is considered "public property",lots of paparazzi, sex scandal videos, etc and one need to be in good mood always when in public is quite stressing. And worst, does the saying "winners are losers" would somehow apply since many who had attained fame falls hard when they are no longer needed or just drowned in their popularity? I've heard entertainers who have commented that, although they needed the payment, would really love to hear their audience approval by the loudness of the applause. But, if given a choice, would prefer a private life since their love life is very much affected, negatively. Would you like to become a star?

I wouldn't dream of it.

I am enjoying all of the comforts they can possibly have, and the anonymity that they only wish for.

Being a celebrity is very intoxicating. It will change your life around inside and out. Some stars can handle the fame and some can not.
Many examples:
Micheal Jackson, I do not need to explain what happen to him. He changed a lot.
Anna Nicole Smith, all of her dirt came out in the open after she died. Gosh, no one knew who was the father of her new born baby.
Mariah Carey, had a little downfall but she made a strong come back.
Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, enough said.

Charisma, talent, beauty and fame can bring you so high on the latter. SOME Celebrities easily forget that they can fall from that latter.

Those who experience the hassles of celeberity life, like the ones you've mentioned, CHOOSE for them to happen.
In the age where club-rats like Paris and Lindsay make millions of doolers by having their picture taken "accidentally" without their underwear, it's so evident that negative publicity is more profitable than positive ones.
Who here think Paris would make more money by visiting the Pope, doing charity work in Darfur and protesting in the streets for Burma? Did Britney do that VMA dance poorly on purpose or was it her way of staying in the news? Did she look at that "no panties outta the car" picture on the magazine and thought to herself "Man, I should have put some on". After that dull "porno" flick with Paris in it hit the stores and the net, how many other celebrities "unwillingly" had their porno videos leaked out?
These crybabies can complain about the paparazzi as much as they want, but the fact of the matter is, they need that publicity and exposure so they can maintain that beach house in Malibu and that 50 thousand dollar a week shopping addiction.
Matt Damon earns 20 million dollars a movie, but you don't see him getting hounded by photographers as much as trainwrecks like Paris, Britney and Lindsay.

No, I'd have nothing against celebrity life.

Yes, lots of excitements, unlimited freedom of expressions. Celebrities are there for everyone to celebrate and imitate.

There are always "winners" and "losers" while in this life, it's the destiny of everyone. Ups and downs are what makes life so mysterious, and there is beauty in mystery.

But I don't want to be a star, I hate too much publicity. It's like basking under the sun without sunscreen. Yet we can not blame on others who love to be like one. Nevertheless, they should be more cautious not to get a lot of sunburns.

i think living the life of a celebrity is worthwhile. celebrities in the philippines dont get that much attention unlike the celebrities in the USA. there are people like the paparazzi but normally when regular people see celebs, they just stare and sometimes ask to take a picture with them. so far i havent heard of any extraordinary acts of fans with celebrities....

After reading your comments about becoming the problems celebreties face, I would never think about becoming a media star. I would rather be star in the skiy. I love stars, stars, stars. But not those I see on the media.
