I wont date a liar or a woman who wont take care of herself like personal hygiene or being grossly overweight. If she is only a little overweight, I don't mind, but a lot? Nope. Tells me how she feels about herself not to mention the health issues and it is not attractive at all, to say the least.
Plus the woman would have to like dogs, not smoke, use drugs or abuse alcohol.
She should also be kind to people like waiters, kids, dogs, the elderly, etc. A sense of humor is most important as is a smile from time to time.

Yes, but I think they have all been wrong! I have been married 4 times. I think I need to take a good look at what standards I think are important. lol j

Yes I have my own standards when dating..(glad I don't have to date anymore though.=))...
He has to...
1. be employed and not living with his Mom
2. be of legal age
3. have good hygiene habits
4. Single,divorced or widowed is okay,but it has to be verified
5. be willing to take a lie detector test,for practical purposes..
=)
If it works into more than one date the list continues..=)

I will not date people with poor personal hygiene or people that are rude to waiting staff/bar staff or people who are cruel to animals or old people.
