Ive been destroying all kinds of vehicles with three people in it, but im still not getting it. Is there some particular way i need to destroy it?

on the mission sierra 117 (towards the end), after rescuing sergeant johnson, there is a covenant dropship that comes right outside the building you are in. if you destroy the front turret(i used a carbine), it gives you the used car salesman achievement. this is by far the easiest way.

On the 2nd Level (Crow's Nest) in the Hanger right as the Covenant Dropships are flying in. You can throw a plasma grenade on one of them. At the right angle and timing it's possible to pull to pull it off.
