lol this may surprize you, but i really think that Romo is one of the top QB's around right now

he played REALLY bad against the bills, but he will probablly do surprizingly well in the cowboys upcoming LOSS to the patriots. haha

EDIT _-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_

lmao. arguing over the internet is like the special olympics, even if you win, you're still retarded.

but i really think that romo will do alright against the pats, the patriots defense will underestimate him, and the game will be close, but i really can't see the patriots losing.

First of all, I love Tony Romo. He is one of the better quarterbacks in the league, and one of the best Dallas has had in a while. Testaverde, Carter, Bledsoe - they all suck in comparison to Romo. That being said, I am devastated. With Romo out, Dallas will most likely go 1-15. Why? Well, Kitna is not a good match for this team. Romo is a playmaker: he knows what to do with the ball, when to throw, where to throw. Haters can say what they want, but if he's so bad, how come he's put up nearly a thousand yards in the last four games? This season = over for Dallas.

Very overrated at the position. I especially hated listening to Madden during the Bears and Packers game compare Brett Favre, a legend, to Tony Romo, an up -n-comer. Did anyone else here that man. I am sorry is he good, yes but not great, in no way should he EVER be compared to Brett, or Peyton, or any guys like that. Lets see him have 4-6 years of continued numbers and then this question can be answered the right way. Right now, I would say he is getting built up to fall hard.

Romo is a middle of the pack of QB who locks onto his recievers way to soon, he seems to not follow any progressions and rarely checks down to a secondary or third reciever. When he makes the throws everyone is happy, but last night at least 3 of those were because he didnt check down to a different reciever when he should have, and he was locked into his target before they even made their breaks. If he doesnt clean that up, a stout D like the Pats is going to eat him alive. You can chalk it up to everyone has a bad game, and thats true, but he created a bad game by his play not because the D he was up against was that good they are ranked 32nd out of 32 teams in defense. Beyond all that, Romo isnt really on my radar.

Well, I will admit, I was getting kinda upset at him last night - I mean come on FIVE interceptions, a fumble.... grrrr.... but then I realized that he is OUR Quarterback... the best one we've had since Aikman - he's way better than Testeverde! lol. And no one is perfect.... everyone has their bad days, just poor Tony had a bad day yesterday - I am sure he felt bad. I am just glad that he was able to hand that last throw off to T.O. and that was enought to set them up for the game winning field goal. Tony is normally awesome, just had a bad day - I'm not going to put him down any more than I already did, cuz he is my quarterback & I love him, I love the team... yeah, this is who the cowboys are.... and I love them!!

Go boys!!

Tony Romo = Rex Grossman

He is highly over-rated and if the Cowboys make it to the Superbowl, they will be totally outclassed by the Patriots like Grossman was outclassed last year by the Colts.

Romo is a fraud and this game was evidence of it. Further evidence was the Bears game where it took 6 defensive starters to be injured on the Bears by the second half of the game for Romo to finally "win" it.

The Cowboys may be the best team in the NFC, but the NFC is a pile of dung and being the best cow pie still stinks. Romo is lucky to be in the right place at the right time, but unlike Kurt Warner (another Flash in the pan), Romo ain't going to win crap.

He looked nervous. His throws were off for most of the game. He didn't let it get to him though. Some teams would have just given up on the pass and some QBs would have just stopped taking any chances. Give him credit he was there when it counted. Ive only seen him play a few times and he has never looked that bad before.

Romo and Harrington, playing behind the same o-line, and Harrington would look like Jesus himself.
Romo is average at best, and there must be a reason that your owner hasn't extended his contract, huh.....like maybe he throws too many interceptions, maybe he fumbles too much.
This I know, Romo is NO Troy Aikman, for Aikman WAS a quarterback, and I just have never liked the Cowboys since they began whining back in the 60's. They whined when the Pack beat them in the Championship game preceding the first Superbowl, and they've been whining ever since..And their fans are the absolute worst on the planet..........The Cowboys suck, their fans are jaw-jackers and slackers, and most of all, Texans are just plain lousy football fans.
Go Spurs........

Romo does not impress me at all. That sidearm delivery is a disaster waiting to happen. That game proved to me that the Cowboys are not on the same plane as the Colts and Pats, or the Steelers and Redskins and Packers, or the Ravens and Titan and Jags,. I would put them on the same plane as the Broncos. The Broncos needed a last second FG to beat the Bills, too.

Even though he struggled tonight, he came back and put the Cowboys in the position to win. That shows true heart, and a spirit that won't ever give up! Go Cowboys!

he is a great quarterback until he is rattled and then things get worse.....but hey he is young and has a lot of time to mature all great quarterbacks stumble from time to time, hell look at Favre last year.....he will be just fine and the Cowboys are going to the Super Bowl.
=)
