You cant upgrade, as its a different type of product.

You need to backup all your info, then install 2003 from scratch. Word of warning, 2003 gets more attack than most other server, so unless you keep all updates up-to-date, you may hit problems.

Anything to do with server will be expensive, ie. AntiVirus will be many times more than desktop models so you been warned.

Also if your copy is unlicenced or keygen type, It may die on you after some updates.

definite yet whilst that gadget is configured as a server no longer a consumer abode windows 2003 it's going to be slow. with the aid of fact all documents dealing with the community is going by the server no longer in uncomplicated terms the swith/hub/router with the aid of fact the server supplies regulations as an administrator for an added pc on the community occasion in case you enable downloading on the customer pc's or no longer. all documents throught the community is going by the server so in case you employ the server pc as a commonplace pc it's going to be slow and is not any longer pronounced with the aid of fact if it hangs with the aid of unsolicited mail, maleware, viruses no remember if that's became off the full community is going down untill that's restarted.

you can have two systems on your computer one on c and the other on d
no proplems with domain will appear and no data is lost except for those which is on the drive which you want to install 2003 to
you can simply copy it to another drive and every thing will be okay
