It could be something innocent but get him to the doctors for a check up. Sometimes anti sickness tablets, which are anti-histamines can exacerbate the problem.

He needs to see a Dr this morning. It could be an ulcer as the symptoms sound similar to what I get (I have an ulcer). If he's bringing up everything be warned he might be sent to hospital for IV anti sickness, pain meds and fluids. I ended up being taken in 3 times last year.

Hope he gets sorted x

its for sure gastritis. when u have a bad schduled week this problem arises. there is some gas locked inside. for immediate relief take RANTAC 150mg. when the situation is sever no medicans will work the only solution is that the locked gas shoul come out either by vomiting or from stools.
dont worry even if he vomits its the better way to get the gas out.
drinking hot water works well. dont panic but give support to the patient. buttermilk will also help. it takes atleast 6 hrs to be fine after tat better visit doctor and get a course of tablets. after all the gas is out he will have fever.
take care no need to worry. when hungry feed him with less fiber food.

I suffered for two years, turned out it was gallstones eventually I had my gallbladder removed and have been pain free ever since. The pain is unbearable so I really feel for your partner the only thing that eased it was morphine. My doctor was useless I ended up being taken to hospital by ambulance where they were the ones who diagnosed it and got the ball rolling to get something done. drastic action needs to be taken NOW. Good Luck!

You don't say where you are but if in the UK, phone NHS Direct - now! 0845 46 47 . At least you will be able to discuss the problem with a nurse and he/she will either tell you what's best or get you an appointment somewhere.

It sounds as if he either has an ulcer or a hiatus hernia. He should get to the doctor since there are prescription meds that work better than anything you can buy over the counter.

If it persists he really needs to see a doctor, for the heart burn i find ! teaspoon of Bi-carb soda in about 1/4 glass of water, tastes like crap but works a treat. maybe he needs to go to hospital now! It could even be his heart.. better to be safe that sorry

He must be feeling miserable. Get him checked out today though, don't want to frighten you but sometimes a heart attack has identical symptoms to the ones you describe.
