I think Qdoba is horrible aside from their tacos. I hate their burritos, they are too soggy and the employees stuff them way too much. The one near me is not run well at all. I love Pancheros, but I do not think too many are around. I have never been to Chipotle, and I love Baja Fresh, but I have only been there a few times.

I think Baja rules the Mexican menu right now, but there is so much room for improvement and new offerings.
i wonder why no one has stepped up and offered the Mexican pay-by-the-pound yet?
I went to a fast Mexican place in Seoul, Korea that offered all types of shells/tortillas that you filled yourself and then paid by the weight of it. They had healthy and unhealthy items on the line, including a variety of sauces. I thought it was the perfect way to get hte right amount inside your burrito adn the right balance. If you ordered a flauta or chimichnage, after you stuffed it, they took it and grilled/fried/etc it.

The only ones around me are Taco Bell and Baja Fresh. And i just totally ditched and ignored Taco Bell as soon as Baja came to town.

In California, Jimboy's Tacos is # one. In the Denver area, any Santiago's and then Illegal Pete's. Anywhere else maybe Chipotle or Wahoo's Fish Tacos as a distant third. Everything else is Taco Hell.

Baja Fresh is so tasty and yummy. I dont really like Chipotle. I love Taco Bell!!

And, if you are in Tampa Bay, Florida - CARMELITA'S! They are sit down, but they are fast and they are the only place that knows how to make unfried Chiles Rellenos!

I love TACO BURRITO KING. Even though it's fast food and not authentic, they have some really delicious food! There is also CHIPOTLE, PEPE'S and TACO BELL.

In the Southwest/Phx. theres a chain of Buffet resturants calledPANCHO'S they are pretty good!
Regular resturants i'd say Garcicas(Original-Family ownered)
not so much the chain but they are good too...
Lastly Maycayo's chain...
