Find real solutions to end the war...listen to what the people are saying while on campaign runs, make a plan with those ideas in mind and follow through with it. Make a commitment to strive to make America a better place to be. Strive to make this a safer country. Find out what is causing our youths in public schools to turn on their classmates or teachers with intense violence. That's happened more than it has in the past. To often, politicians have a tendency to act as though they are listening to the people while they're campaining for the Presidency, then once elected, make a full 360 and nothing happens.!! Most politicians are selfish and commit to self will. The election is all about them. If you read some of the answers here in the yahoo answers, you'll get a clue as to how many people are truly disillusioned by these candidates. People are speaking their minds about how this disappoints them. Myself included. Integrity has to be these candidates number one priority in backing their campaign and winning.

Lie like a rug.
Can you imagine voting for the truth?
I'm going to have to raise taxes to pay for this highly unpopular war, which we really can't leave in a hurry because we broke the hell out of that country and it would be long term catastrophic for our reputation and Oh Lord we need their oil.
So kiss a Saudi tonite and forget that there were nineteen Saudis aboard those planes that went into our buildings.
Now go kiss some babies, wear bright colors, and if you see Osama, call the FBI, cause all our soldiers are overseas babysitting the Iraqi government. And getting killed doing it.
Oh, and about that draft?
Yeah, that will work.

If he is a first timer he should come across as an honest person with a magical wand to take care of all the problems of people at large. If he is running for a second time his past record shall make him win or lose an election.

Promise things to people so they don't have to pay for them, and stick it to the rich since the rich got that way by stealing money from the poor.
Call businesses greedy because they make money, then promise to raise taxes on those greedy businesses so that government has more money to spread out to all of us.
Promise to pass more laws that will solve problems like crime, obviously guns cause crime, so if government takes guns from people there will be no more crime.

Try not to over challenge your opponent and do not make too many promises you can't keep.
