what does a 35 year old single mother, want with a 22 year old?
I met a new friend of my mothers the other day, becuase she is helping me paint my moms bedroom and kitchen, before she comes home from the hospital( Lung removed-cancer) We spent most of the time chillin in the living room, just talking about life and other stuff. She happens too be going though a devorse after 12 years, so I thought she just may need a friend, but she was telling me about stuff I don't need to know about. At the end of the day, on Friday she gave me her number and said " I know your mom won't smoking/drinking I could us a compaion...or somthing close to that. She even told me that she hadn't been having sex with her husband for quite awhile? Why tell me that? It just seems like she was hitting on me. I can't figure out why she gave me her #. We have very different lives.

Yes she is, and in doing that, she's betraying the trust your mum put in her.
Just let her find her own way and stay away from her.
You don't need that at your age.
She is full of baggage that someone your age can't help her with. She needs someone who is on the same page as her.
Who's been there and done that.
If she tries and make further contact, just tell her that you feel sorry for what she's going through and only wanted to be a friend to her.
She will understand and should respect that.
If she can't, all the more reason for you to stay away.

Going through a divorce and having just had lung cancer removed, she must be in a pretty bad emotional place. I can't read her mind, but from what you've said, it does sound like she wants to find something to "fill the hole" she has in her life right now. And that something seems to be you at the moment.
It does put you in a bad situation, because I'm sure you don't want to hurt her. So the best advice I can offer, is try not to flirt back with her, and try not to get too involved in her life. You can let her know you'll be there as a friend, but make clear (without sounding rude), that you aren't interested in more than friends.
Eh.. not sure if that helps, but to your question, yeah she might just want you as sex. Or more, but if you don't want a relationship with her, then try to follow my above advice if possible.

She wants to have sex with you! That's whats nice about older women, they dont play games.
She's feeling crapy and un attactive with this divorce, so going after a younger man will make her feel better. Go exploring....If she just wants sex. yeah go for it.
...But there are two big problems with this...
1. She's not completely divorced.. Im not sure what the law is, but its just safe to make sure the divorce is complete. You dont need to get involved in someone elses divorce.
2. She's somewhat a family friend so if stuff goes south, you probally will bump into her from time to time.

Sounds to me like the divorce is making her vunerable and she's on the rebound and since youre younger, that would make her ex extremely jealous. And older women only mean trouble. You should just be with people youre own age and don't worry about her, she's making a choice to get divorced so this is her baggage to carry, not yours.
And yes she probably does just want sex

It sounds like she is lonely, and also knows she will be missing her friend...your mom someday. She is feeling for you also, knowing what you are now, and will be soon, going thru. Maybe her feelings of sorrow are mixed up and she thinks you could be a new person in her life. She is only 35.....very young to some of us.

Yep, she's definitely looking to get some. If you don't want to get involved with her, tell he politely that you are busy. You can even show with a (girl)friend when she's around and she will get the message. Don't go drinking with her because she will get you very fast! Good luck.

It depends if you are freaked out by her trying to flirt with you or whether you see it as a compliment. If you don't want to go there then don't and tell her that was just too much info you didn't need to hear and you are not interested.

Sounds like she just wants to get laid by a young guy. Go ahead if you want to, older women are definitely easier than the younger ones, but they're also not as hot.
