Compared to the machines that are considered "gaming" nowdays, no I wouldnt consider this a "gaming" machine. Many gaming machines are equiped with a high end video card, I dont see that you have one listed so I'm guessing it has on-board video.

What operating system are you running? If its Windows Vista, I would recommend upgrading your RAM to at least 2GB, also if you are using it for gaming, add a video card. But you have to also take into consideration to have a power supply can handle adding a video card. I would go with a power supply at least 500W or more. And you should make sure to have proper cooling and ventilation in your system if you are going to be gaming all day, don't want to burn out any of your hardware.

As for downloading games online, be careful, there are lots of viruses out there at untrustworthy sites that have free games to download. Make sure you have an updated anti-virus program before you start downloading stuff, especially from p2p file sharing programs.

Your PC is more of a business desktop rather than a gaming machine because you are just on integrated graphics. A gaming machine should have at least a mainstream graphics card.

I would recommend at least a nvidia geforce 7900gs for gaming nowadays. You can get one for around $100 on newegg.com. Or if you want to go directx 10, there's always the 8800's. :)

the most popular games now are online. try to see the level up games if you could find your game of interest...i suggest you add a separate video card for your pc to have an enjoyable power gaming experience...^_^
