Hi Theo, we would need to be talking about a different couple I fear. But I would still want to see a charge of child neglect brought and have them in court - as any other couple would be.

Faith, on tv this mornning the official spokesman for the Mc canns said they couldn`t greive because they didn`t know what happened to maddie and they were going about their every day buisness and co-opperating with the police . yes is my answere to the original question you might be right about that.

The McCanns have more on their minds than what the general public or rather a segment of the general public, think of them. Its not nothing to do with arrogance but more to do with grief.
For those who cannot or will not or refuse to see the McCann's grief, even if they did hold a news conference like the one you describe, i can bet hordes would go hoarse yelling that they are putting on a show for sympathy, that their regrets are not genuine & that its just a PR spin. The McCanns know this & naturally don't have the inclination or energy for it... Would you?
