I don't like Joe Morgan and Jon Miller, can't pinpoint why. I do like Rick Sutcliffe, but don't like Joe Buck at all.
These playoffs I have enjoyed Steve Stone immensely! I wish he was the color man for the White Sox. Bob Uecker is very good too.

I always listening to Steve Stone but he isn't on national TV much anymore. Steve Phillips isn't bad. Considering most people have cable I like listening to Skip Caray and Don Sutton from TBS though both don't do as many games as they used to.
Joe Morgan gets on my last nerve because he usually comes across on the racist side. Jon Miller needs to either retire or stop kissing Bonds' a*s. Preffably retire, he was once very good but now he's hard to listen to because he messes up too many things (names, teams, stats, etc) and when the Giants aren't playing him and Morgan are still kissing Bonds' ***. Joe Buck & Tim McCarver from fox are so bad I don't even know where to start. I only thing I can definately say about Joe Buck is the only reason he has a job is because of his last name and who is dad is (Jack Buck). Also Ken "Hawk" Harrellson is another that is so bad I don't even know where to start.

I can't stand Jon Miller and can tolerate Joe Morgan. When those 2 are broadcasting I'll turn the TV off and listen to the game on the radio, if I can.
The Fox broadcasters aren't bad, I don't know their names. So far the best are Terry Smith and Rory Marcus, they're not national, they do the Angel games on the radio.

Al Michaels never gets the chance to do baseball anymore but he is way good. Bob Costas is good. Jon Miller, yes, Joe Morgan, not so much. McCarver is better than he's given credit for but still not that great. Costas and Tony Kubek made a great team.
But Al Michaels gets my vote.

Wow, I have always like the personalities and not just the play by play ability only. I liked the Harry Caray types even though he was three sheets to the wind by the 5th inning he was fun. I live in Atlanta now and from Colorado and lucky to still have the Caray name strong here in Atlanta in Skip and his son Chip and Josh of the Rome Braves.
My favorites are Campbell of the Rockies and also ESPN, Caray of the Braves but I always liked Jon Miller and Peter Gammons even if he doesn't do the play by play and just the analisys.
So pound for pound even though he is a strong Braves fan I like Skip Caray and the Jon Miller....but if Gammons counts he is first.

BOB UEKER is by far the best baseball announcer still in the game. To say anything differently would be a laughable response. For instance they call the man Mr. Baseball, he portrays the announcer in probably the best baseball movie(s) of all time in Major League, and the man is simply funny and entertaining while he keeps you in the ball game. This is just my opinion, but I think there are many, many people out there with the same.

All the great baseball announcers have passed-on. All that's out there now are a bunch of corporate dummies with someone's hand up their back-side making their mouth's move. Besides,I thought this question forum was in the football section. Who cares about baseball?

I despise that guy from fox who partners with tim mccarver. He comes across as a snobbish..pompous...sob.
I loved vin scully and also joe garagiola. Harry Carey was good in a fun kind of way.....like he was a fellow fan watching the game with you.
