The main contenders are Jacques Kallis and Ovais Shah.
However, Jacques is my choice as he did exceptionally well in both the innings in first test and also in the first innings of 2nd test.

Kallis cause he basically won the match for South africa with a little help from Dale Steyn, and he is back on top even though he was dropped, he definetly deserves the award to prove his selectors wrong.

Andrew Symonds, for his superb outstanding performance against India, he scored 3 Half Centuries which were around 70,80,90, in all the 3 matches. As a batsman for the team in the middle order he had done his duty well perfectly.
Farveez Maharoof, he took couple of wickets by delivering some slow balls on that dried pitch by giving less runs to the English men's, & he had taken over 3 spots in the ODI's best bowlers ranking.
