ok. so my close friend and I have worked for the company abercrombie and fitch for almost two years, yeah the one that the guys were taking pictures of girls, well anywho, so it happens to be that our managers are getting a little too comfortable at work and use really foul language when telling us what to work on, I had told them about it before that I dont like the way they talk to me but nothing ever changes, and if it does it gets worst. well this past saturday while working my friend was talking to another co worker and when one of the managers grabbed her behind and she turned around and hit him.

well she begins to feel more uncomfortable so decides to ask to go home and he said no, so she just grabs her stuff and leaves.

what can she do about this?

contact corporate head quarters, contact the head of Human resources and look up federal laws regarding workplace harassment, there should be a board at work with this information on it (if not then they are committing another crime) including a number to call.

If all else fails consult a lawyer, this should be the absolutely last resort and should not even be mentioned at work at all, let it be a surprise, trust me it is much better for you.

what ever happens do not think about any kind of personal retaliation. keep a log of all the cases of harassment and talk to other people and note any harassment issues they have had.

be prepared though, things like this are very touchy and things can get wore before they get better.

all I can really say is good luck and don't let you or your friend be a victim.

If the co worker saw the incident and will say so you are in a very good position to put a stop to it. But if you want to continued working there, you should go to the company management, first to the next higher level manager. When you talk/write to them do not bring up lesser complaints in detail but just refer to increasing inappropriate behavior and keep the focus on the grabbing' which is a clear violation of the law and no doubt company policy. Keep in mind that in cases like this the first instinct of management is to believe you are oversensitive, and he meant no harm so plan carefully how to present your case.

Report the guy to upper management and if they do not respond report it to the police. She should tell upper management that she requires action on this matter or she will take it further. If she is anxious about her job then have her ask for an apology from the guy who grabbed her.

Well if you two are cute, I'm sure you can get some guys you know to beat the living **** out of those punks in the parking lot after work. Guys love the whole, defending a womans honor ****.

If you can't do that, kick them in the nuts next time they grab one of you. Tell them that was just your way of returning the favor.

Have her contact a lawyer or the Better Business Bureau. Or even do a search on the net about who to contact about harassment in the workplace.

I'd be willing to bet she wouldn't complain if the boss who grabbed her butt looked like Brad Pitt.

It's not sexual harrassment if the guy doing the harrassing is hot...right????
