What is the diffrence between gary matter and white matter in brain? Which one is considered good or healthy?

I read somewhere that people who lie have more gray matter. Not sure if this is good or bad. People who are truthful have more white matter. The reason why I am asking this question is, I want to know if lying is bad scientifically too.

Apologize for the error. It is other way. Liars have more white matter while truthful have more gray more matter.

Gray matter and white matter are both part of healthy brains. White matter has more myelin than gray matter because it is made up of the bodies of neurons, while gray matter has more of the ends of neurons, as I recall. I'm not familiar with the idea that liars have more gray matter than white and I'm not sure what that would indicate. Perhaps you could send us a link to the article?

the gray matter in the brain is located in the cortex while the white matter is located in the medulla. it is, basically, opposite with that of the placement in the spinal cord wherein the gray matter is in the medulla and the white matter is in the cortex. well, what makes white matter white is the presence of myelinated sheaths in the axon which serve to conduct impulses in a saltatory manner. gray matter, on the other hand is composed of several nerve bodies with the dendrites. the neurons, most of the time are multipolar neurons, involve in motor response. in terms of which layer is good or bad, i don't know of a study conducted wherein a person having a thicker gray matter to be good, vice versa, or whatever. but i know that it serves to partition the layer in our brain and that both are important in impulse conduction.

as u know neuron has axon and head consisting of nucleus the place where the heads of neuron are concentrated or more forms gray matter and where tail or axon side is more forms white matter.
