It´s so much worse and for a number of reasons.
!. no matter what your personal feelings, Cena has gotten better and better every week and thats according to people that actually know what they are talking about like the legendary Les Thatcher
2. the talent roster in WWE is so shallow that loosing one of the big names can only hurt.
3: cuts some of the best promos at the moment.
4: generates more heat these days then most cos, love him or hate him, you still talk and cheer or boo him and both are heat.
5. one of the few wrestlers that can feud with anyone, be they face or heel. i.e. shawn michaels.
Besides anyone that finishes not only the match but also the run in with a pectorial muscle torn away from the bone is a hell of a performer and due some respect.

As Much I Hate Cena I Have To Say That The WWE Is Worse Without Cena!,
WWE Gets More Rating With Cena From The Little Kids!

It's about the same right now. I love Cena...he's the reason I watch Raw. Everything else was just filler to he got on screen. But, I'll survive without him. WWE's still going to tell a ton of Cena merchandise even without him wrestling right now.

They've had what 3 events... Give it 2-3 months and you'll know if it's better or worse... Notice he's already been on for an interview, he clearly is some part of the glue that holds the WWE together...

I am no Cena hater but I don't love the guy either. All I can say is tonight was the best RAW in a long time. I think the writers have had to think harder, and as DDP Would say "that's not a bad thing, that's a good thing".

It's worse, because there isn't anyone there to rip on Vince the way he does. Plus, if he were there last night, he would have been the one to knock Orton out right after Shawn Michaels did.

For me I think he brings something to wwe that was lost when Jeff and Matt decided to do singles wrestling and broke up.

Hard to make an opinion after just 1 week.
I'd say it can now recharge and look at elevating some talent, hopefully give us something fresh.
