I like how one answer says he'll be fine, and the other says dial 911. Its up to you to make the call, we cant see how bad it is.

This is a really hard question to answer, here's why; at what distance did the bottle hit your son from? Was it a glancing blow, or direct impact? Was it inches, or did it fall from a five story building. How thick is your son's skull? Is he an infant with a very thin, barely sealed skull or is he an adult that's in the marine corps? Did he lose consciousness? Is he projectile vomiting? Is he acting bizarre or forgetful? Too many questions and not enough answers.
Hence, safest answer is? Go to the Emergency room.

Naw!!! Just put icepack on it and keep it there for about 45 min-an hr. . If it didn't knock him out then stay home ,but if it did it may be a concussion. Is it at or near the temple area? Just keep an eye on him and if he starts drifting off to sleep just keep him up an extra hr or so an see if he is disoriented or not

If the question ever comes up, "Should I go to the doctor?", you can never be wrong saying yes. You never know what may have happened, and if he has a concussion, that could have some harmful side effects. No one ever died from going to the doctor just in case.

Absolute stupid question.I would like to know how he was he hit with a wine bottle.Give more details as to how it happened.Did it fall and hit him or did somebody hit him with it.This is just a common sense question that any parent should know if he needs medical attention or not.

Have him checked out now, why take a chance waiting? What if something is seriously wrong and having him seen by a doctor could have helped him at this time!

He'll be ok. That mouse will dissapear after a couple of days, but the area might be a bit sore. Oh btw, how old is your son, if he is really young, say infant or toddler, might just be safer to take him the doctors!

It's just a bump on his head. Theres nothing to be worried about, have you never bumped your head before? There's nothing a doctor can do about it. Just ice it until the bump goes down.
