The "N" word is a racial slur. The word begins with "n" and ends in "er". I think you can figure this one out.

The N word is a politically incorrect word that many people of African heritage do not prefer to be called. It has a historic signifigance in the United States in regards to slavery. The word is of course, "N_i_g_g_e_r."(remove the underscores.) It has rude connotations that go along with it, and our vocabulary is better off without it's use. It also is blocked in these posts.

If it's a word you shouldn't use, I think it's the derogative term for a person of African descent.
