I wake up every two hours and I'm very restless to sleep why?
Is it anxiety? Stress?

I'm losing sleep for the week and getting very tired, there's got to be a solution wihout taking meds?

Welcome to my world! I don't think we are the only ones. I have recently been drinking 1/4 cup of Mogan David Grape wine before bed. It is good for the heart and relaxes me. Also breathing several deep breaths into my nose and out through the mouth when I lay down. It helps tremendously!!!!!!!
Never never watch anything serious or scary before bed, something funny calms you to. Don't let anything bother you, this will be very hard, but you can do it. Ignore any stressful stuff after 6pm! Take a hot shower read a little or watch a funny show. This should be your time to unwind. You have to do it or you will die younger!

It is probably stress unless you are having other physical problems such as pain or RLS.
Try starting an exercise program. Get yourself tired every day. That usually give you more sleep.

Don't take sleeping pills, they only make you more tired.

If you're thinking about trying to get to sleep, then focus your mind on something else. Just let it wander off, and see if you can fall asleep. If this works, let me know.

Do you exercise? If you don't move your body enough, it won't be tired. You also will build up stress hormones rather than burning them up. Try taking melatonin before you go to bed. Also make sure that you have enough magnesium.
