You plug the values into the equation like so:

5(5) + 5 = 30 .... 25+5=30.... True, so (5,5) is a solution

5(3)+15=30... 15+15=30... True, so (3,15) is also a solution

5(3) + 2 = 30... 15+2=30... Not True, so (3,2) is not a solution

you should only substitute both of the pairs for the values of x and y... try it so you could learn...

but if you want the answer, it should be a. (5,5) and (3,15) and then it would look like this:

5(5)+5=30
5(3)+15=30

Ordered pairs are written (x,y) so substitute the values & work the equation.
5x+y =30
(5*5) + 5 = 30

Try it w/ (3,15).
