Which is the best restaurant to eat in Las Vegas for steaks. Nothing foofoo, and just regular food. Ruth's Chris' novelty wore off years ago. Doesn't need to be expensive, or ritzy, and prefer casual, comfortable dining wtih good food. In or outside a casino/hotel is okay. Thanks.

There is a nice place (casual) on West Charleston, after Durango drive going west, across the street from Boca Park, the place is called Roy's. Nice place, very good food, not very expensive. Have a nice dinner!

Off "The Strip", downtown, go to old Binion's, Horseshoe. The food is always great, and not overpriced. The resturant is located downstairs, so you get a break from the sound of those wonderful machines. There's also Main St. Station, and
Golden Gate. My husband and I, lived in Vegas , for 9 yrs, and
these were among our favorite places. I also would like to recommend Ellis Island , just off the strip, for the BBq, better than Tony Romas and so much easier, on the pocket. We both get to eat too much, for under 20 w/tip.

Best value steakhouse
Pullman Grille - Main Street Station
Prime Rib Loft - Orleans
The Range - Harrah's
Billy Bob's - Sam's Town
Roberta's - El Cortez

Best steak - meal deals
$7 prime rib dinner - Triple 7 - Main Street Station - The menu says 8oz, don't believe it, this is a very large, very good steak. Don't order the 16oz unless you're an NFL lineman or eat like one.

$10.95 - Monterey Room - Gold Coast - 16oz t-bone, served with 5 sides and beer.

You can do a little research.

I personally like Smith and Wollensky's. It's the only great steakhouse that's not inside a hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. Considered "high-end", but not radically so, so it's prolly okay. When I go, it feels like I'm actually "going out" to eat, instead of staying within a hotel and eating there.

Try Hugo's Cellar in the Four Queens hotel/casino. Located in downtown Vegas. Fantastic atmosphere, top notch steaks and great service.

try Envy The Steakhouse at 3400 Paradise Rd.
Check em out at www.evnysteakhouse.com
it's not very expensive and the atmoshpehere is cool and comfy...I also really enjoy a good old meal at Outback as well...you could try the one on West Suset Rd. I can always go for a bloomin' onion and a nice big filet!!!!!

By the way, my hubbie is a chef and loves to eat at Envy...
Good luck! =)

I say Stripsteak in Mandalay Bay.

The best one I've been to in LV (compared to Prime, Charlie Palmer's, and Ruth Chris).
