I do spend a lot of money and loads of time during Christmas but I didn't come to the point that I asked myself that question. For me, Christmas is a special occasion to show everyone you love how much you adore them even with simple things or gifts. I don't bother what I have done, as long as it makes me and everyone happy. After all, it is what Christmas is all about!

Yes, and I always say next year I am not going to spend so much money on people and then every year I do the same thing again. It's OK if you have the money to spend.

Christmas day (night) is when I ask, why do I keep eating those pickles.

Some time in January I ask why I bothered , usually the same day the credit card bill arrives.

Every Year. But, then I kick myself in the butt and remind myself it is about the giving and not the receiving.

Last year I spent about 2500 on presents and got like 8 gifts in return totalling 200 hundred dollars. Talk about a serious loss in investment.

We used to spend big time at Christmas.=Not any more.
We make our gifts. It takes time and interest in to thinking about others and is far more meaningful.

MY MOTHER REALLY DID!
She's not here on this planet with us any more, so it dosen't bother her now I guess.

I don't really bother much with the food - just a good decent meal, but I love to dress trees and make & wrap presents!!!
